Recent developments in Acrylic resins has resulted in a new diffuse Acrylic material referred to as LD Acrylic (Visual Comfort).
This new Acrylic, greatly reduces the sharp pixelation effect often associated with LED diodes when looking directly at the light source (globe). Some of the other benefits also include:
- Impact modified and UV resistant with continuous operating temperature up to 90C.
- Light transmittance of 90% to 94% (application dependent).
